Keep Cool During Your Summer Wedding

Summer is a popular time to get married - especially for outdoor weddings. There is something romantic about an outdoor wedding whether it be on the beach or an outdoor venue. The only real pitfall of having a summer wedding is the heat that comes with an outdoor summer wedding.

1. Keep Plenty Of Refreshing Drinks On Hand

5. Incorporate Fans Into Your Decor

The airflow fans create will likely be invaluable during your summer wedding. Place several fans throughout your venue to create a cooling breeze. If you're worried about the fans creating an eyesore, you can always spray paint the base to match your wedding colors.

6. Give Your Bridesmaids Parasols

There's something timelessly romantic and whimsical about parasols. If you're planning a summer wedding, you may want to skip the traditional bouquets for yourself and your bridesmaids, and instead select parasols for your girls to carry with them. They'll add a sense of fun to your event - and they'll provide much-needed shade while you stand at the altar.

7. Pack Sunscreen

Don't let your special day lead to painful sunburns! Pack small bottles of sunscreen in the wedding day survival kits you put together for yourself and your bridesmaids. You may also want to consider setting out a few bottles of community sunscreen for your guests to use (by the buckets of bottled water, for example).
