Silhouette Styles Part 1 - Ball Gown

When it comes time to shop for your wedding dress in South Florida, you may be surprised by the vast amount of wedding dress styles available to choose from. Before you make your appointment to try on dresses, looking at photos of dress styles you like is a great way to get a good idea of the styles you like. However, when you come in for your appointment, you may not be familiar with the silhouette styles, making it hard to convey the styles you love. In an effort to help our bride's before they come in, Bridal Couture of the Palm Beaches is starting a blog series describing each silhouette style and examples of each. This week, we are featuring the ball gown silhouette!

Ball Gown Silhouette

Straight out of a classic fairy tale, the ball gown is generally thought of as what a princess would wear. It is a timeless look that will always be in style. Ball gowns have a fitted bodice with a full skirt that flares out at the waist. These dresses seem to float ethereally down the aisle.
